Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Terms") carefully before downloading or using Aegis
Software. By
downloading or using our software, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not
download or
use the applications.
1. License Tiers
We offer three levels of access to "Your Privacy" Software:
- Free & Trial Tier: Provided at no cost for evaluation or basic use. Features
may be limited.
- Pro Tier: Requires a one-time license fee. Unlocks advanced features.
- Max Tier: Requires a one-time license fee. Includes the full suite of
professional tools.
All licenses are non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable.
2. Payments and Refunds
- One-Time Fee: Fees for Pro and Max tiers are one-time payments. No recurring
subscriptions.
- Finality: All sales are final. Any refund, if granted, is at the sole
discretion of "Your Privacy" Software unless required by law.
3. Data Privacy & Local Storage
Your privacy is a core component of our engineering philosophy.
- Local Metadata: All photo and video metadata, organizational data, and database
files are stored
on your local device only. We do not host, sync, or have access to your
libraries or their associated data.
- Outgoing Communication: "Your Privacy" Software does not transmit your personal
data to
our servers.
The only outgoing communication initiated by the user is via support inquiries directed to
support@yourprivacysw.com.
4. User Responsibilities & Data Safety
Our applications are tools for managing your local assets. You are solely responsible for
your data.
- Backups: You are explicitly encouraged to maintain frequent, independent
backups of your files, metadata, and configuration.
- Risk of Loss: "Your Privacy" Software is not responsible for any lost, corrupted,
or
deleted data resulting from the use of the software.
5. Third-Party Services and OS Compatibility
The applications may utilize third-party libraries, external APIs, or specific Operating System (OS)
functions.
- No Warranty for Third Parties: We provide no warranties regarding the continued
functionality, availability, or support of any third-party software or OS-level integrations.
- Changes: Changes to your OS or third-party service updates may render certain
features inoperable; we are not liable for such disruptions.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE."
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including but
not limited to fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, or uninterrupted operation.
7. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall the developers or owners of "Your Privacy" Software be liable for any indirect,
incidental,
or consequential damages.
Maximum Damages: Our total liability to you for any cause whatsoever will at all
times be limited to the amount paid by you for the software license. If you are
using the Free/Trial tier, our maximum liability is $0.
8. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of Massachusetts, without regard to its conflict of law
provisions.
