What You Need

The editing tools run on their own with nothing else installed. Two groups of features depend on outside software:

  • AI Assistant and vision analysis — a local Ollama or LM Studio server running a multimodal model. See the Ollama setup guide.
  • Generative editing (FLUX.2) — an NVIDIA GPU with CUDA and roughly 6 GB of video memory. There is no CPU fallback; without a supported card those four tools stay unavailable and nothing else is affected.
  • Library Search — an Aegis Photo Voyager library on the same machine. Optional.
